This week the Independent issued a stark warning tongue tie treatment was endemic and a lot of procedures undertaken weren’t needed. My response below explores why an organisation sponsored by formula companies may make such claims, whilst no such concern or warning exists over the overprescribing medications to babies such as proton pump inhibitors.
